Eight items for $40 bucks, its all good. My items are not cheaply priced but I think they are fairly and accurately priced. Lucky for me, I requested it back, and I suppose Jessica wasnt as big of a douche as Taylor and didnt have the heart to send me an empty box back so I got the money after two weeks. When my package finally arrived..instantly I knew my rock revival jeans were not going to be in that package it was too light. At first it was slow but made $500 in June.. No problems & 5 stars on all buys. Im not sure how this will endbut I am sure Im finished with Poshmark. Last week, I sold a Coach bag in great condition other than a blob of clear nail polish that had dried on the interior zip pocket and slight wear on the embroidered CsBOTH of which were pictured and mentioned in the description. I thought I was doing a work from home business, but really, many of us are working for cents rather than dollars. My first transaction on Poshmark cost me $50 for a defective pair of shoes I cant wear or even try to resell. I dont have time for that and I have perfect five star rating on over 100 sales. As a buyer Im very frustrated now with sellers who post but never provide any detail of the items (when it only takes a second to measure), those who send damaged goods and those who take my money and never ship at all. I explained what I just did here and said I would be happy to take more photos and post them. Protection needs to be across the board for both buyers and sellers. Ive had completely ungrateful ratings and rude comments left, even when getting an item close to 90% off in mint condition complaining of perfume smell (it was sitting by an air freshener). On the sales page across from where is says order status their is a drop down that says Problem?Order Inquiry When you click that drop down one option will say, report a problem with a return. I have been an occasional Poshmark shopper (I shop ALL over online, wherever I find what I want at a fair price and I never lowball anyone). Every single one of my sales (I have 186 listings) has received 4 and 5 stars (only 2 received 4 stars and Im assuming because the itemsboth of which were brand-new and never wornsimply didnt fit) and rave reviews/comments/love notes. I ship from a smoke/pet/odor free home, wrap items in tissue and include a handwritten thank you card in clean packaging. Im glad Im not only honest person that was on Poshmark AMD had a crappy experience. I was appalled as this had never happened to me before! In both of those cases, I had Posh cancel the orders and let the buyers keep the items for free because it wasnt worth it to me, but really if a case is opened against you once in every hundred sales or so thats not too bad. Ive found some great deals on Poshmark, but I usually find my experiences on that site really frustrating and stressful. Makes the item virtually impossible to sell and the seller is screwed. Poshmark splits the news feed so that you can now see likes, shares, offers, bundles, comments, and more all separate from each other in your news feed. (Special kudos if youre one of the top 10% sellers on Poshmark keep it up!). Otherwise theyll spiral out of business. I feel the creepiest aspects of the platform is the psychological manipulation of requiring resellers to share (presenting it as a positive community activity sellers supporting other sellers) so that the mysterious algorithm will reward them with sells; sharing equals free labor driving the activity of the platform, which the same resellers pay more to use than other selling platforms. It is no secret in the Poshmark world that you must regularly and continuously share your listings and closets if you want to attract the buyer's attention. If the buyer doesnt like your item for some reason, they can return it to Tradesy and you keep your money. At first I was marking items at what I expected to receive, which was already hugely discounted from what I paid. I dont have a lot of experience with buying wholesale, as most of my items either come directly out of my closet or are things I pick up at consignment stores that either dont fit me or that I think a customer would like. I wear a small and it was just slightly too large, so I listed it with all pics of the 2XL tags and saying that I believe it was mis-marked because I wear a small and it was slightly too big. As a result, I decided that I might continue to buy from Poshers, but would not open my own closet. You keep the rest. It doesnt affect anyone who is buying if they see you sold one item or hundreds as to whether youll make a sale. It shouldnt be like this and it is infuriating. So after about 5 emails that took a month to get an actual response, I was told that I hadnt removed the listing explaining how to spot a scammer. I do not understand who authenticates on PM? People are picky and dont read descriptions and change their minds constantly and return things they shouldnt and push limits. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I just bought it. You betcha ! It requires you to offer at least a 10% discount on the price along with a shipping discount of $2.12 or $7.99 (making the buyer's shipping charge $4.99 or free, respectively).
